Fluoresentsmärgiga
Fluoresentsmärgiga is a term that has emerged in certain online communities, primarily referring to the visual effect created by specific types of fluorescent markers when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. These markers, often found in highlighters or specialized pens, contain phosphors that absorb UV radiation and then re-emit it at a lower energy, visible light frequency. This process causes the marked areas to glow brightly, appearing to emit light of their own, especially in low-light conditions where the UV source is present.
The term itself is a portmanteau, combining "fluorescent" with a Swedish word that loosely translates to "smear"
