Fluorbeläggningar

Fluorbeläggningar, often referred to as fluoropolymer coatings, are a class of protective and functional finishes that utilize the unique properties of fluoropolymers. These materials, characterized by the presence of carbon-fluorine bonds, exhibit exceptional chemical resistance, low friction, and non-stick characteristics. Common examples include polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), known by the brand name Teflon, fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP), and perfluoroalkoxy alkanes (PFA).

These coatings are applied to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, plastics, and ceramics, through methods such as spraying, dipping, or electrostatic application, followed by curing at elevated temperatures. The resulting film is typically thin, durable, and inert, making it suitable for applications where resistance to corrosion, heat, or chemical attack is paramount.
