Flambeaux

Flambeaux are traditional torches used historically for illumination, particularly in outdoor settings where candles or lanterns would be impractical. The term originates from the French word *flambeau*, meaning "torch" or "flame." Flambeaux were commonly employed during medieval and Renaissance periods, especially in Europe, for events such as processions, festivals, and military campaigns.
