Fitzroya
Fitzroya is a genus of trees in the cypress family Cupressaceae. It comprises two extant species, Fitzroya cupressoides, native to southern Chile and Argentina, and Fitzroya patagonica, which is a synonym for Fitzroya cupressoides. The genus was named by English botanist John Lindley in honor of Captain Robert FitzRoy, who commanded the second voyage of HMS Beagle.
