Ficos
Ficos, also known as Ficus carica, are a species of fig tree native to the eastern Mediterranean region, including Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, and Egypt. They are cultivated for their edible fruit, known as figs, which are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Fig trees are deciduous, meaning they shed their leaves annually, and they typically grow to a height of 10-15 meters. The fruit of the fig tree is a soft, sweet, and juicy berry that comes in various colors, including green, purple, black, and brown, depending on the variety. Figs are commonly used in cooking, baking, and as a snack, and they are also valued for their medicinal properties. The fig tree is an important cultural symbol in many regions, often associated with fertility, abundance, and prosperity.
