Fejforma

Fejforma is a term that describes the shape of a person's head. While there is significant variation in head shapes among individuals, it is generally understood that people can be categorized into several broad types based on their cranial structure. These classifications are not rigid scientific categories but rather descriptive terms used to identify common patterns.

Commonly recognized fejforma types include dolichocephalic (long and narrow), brachycephalic (short and broad), and mesocephalic (intermediate between the two). Dolichocephalic heads tend to be longer from front to back than they are wide. Brachycephalic heads are wider from side to side than they are from front to back, often appearing more rounded. Mesocephalic heads fall somewhere in the middle, exhibiting a balance between length and width.

Beyond these primary classifications, further distinctions can be made based on the height of the skull, the prominence of the forehead, or the shape of the occiput (the back of the head). Individual differences in bone structure, influenced by genetics and developmental factors, contribute to the unique fejforma of each person. While these terms are descriptive, it is important to note that they are observational and not indicative of any particular health condition or trait.
