Feguridae
Feguridae is a family of extinct reptiles belonging to the order Rhynchosauria. These creatures lived during the Triassic period, a geological era that spanned from approximately 252 to 201 million years ago. Rhynchosaurs, in general, were characterized by their unique beak-like snouts, which were often toothless or had very reduced dentition in the front, but possessed complex batteries of teeth further back in the jaws. The exact function of these specialized jaws is still debated among paleontologists, with theories ranging from herbivory to omnivory.
The fossil record of Feguridae is relatively sparse, with only a few genera and species currently assigned
