Faunoridae
Faunoridae is a proposed family of land snails, which are terrestrial gastropod mollusks. This family has been suggested to include certain genera previously classified under other families, such as Charopidae and Punctidae. The proposed classification is based on anatomical and genetic studies, aiming to create a more accurate grouping of these species. However, Faunoridae is not yet universally accepted by all malacologists, and its taxonomic status is still under discussion and revision within the scientific community.
The snails within Faunoridae are generally small to medium-sized, characterized by their coiled shells. Their habitat
