Fasnia

Fasnia is a municipality on the eastern coast of Tenerife, one of the Canary Islands, Spain. It lies within the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canary Islands autonomous community. The landscape combines coastal plains with volcanic ridges, and Montaña de Fasnia rises behind the town as a prominent landmark. The surrounding area features ravines, orchards, and farms that reflect traditional agricultural use.

The name Fasnia is of Guanche origin, and the area was inhabited before the Spanish conquest. Over the centuries it developed as a rural municipality and was integrated into Tenerife’s system of local governance.
