Fantomi

Fantomi refers to a variety of phenomena and concepts, primarily associated with the supernatural or unexplained. In folklore and popular culture, a fantom is often depicted as a spirit of a dead person or animal, visible in the physical world. These apparitions are frequently described as fleeting, transparent, or ethereal, and their appearances are often linked to specific locations, unresolved issues, or strong emotional attachments from their past lives. Belief in ghosts and spirits has a long history across many cultures, appearing in ancient texts and continuing to be a prevalent theme in modern storytelling and paranormal investigations.

In a metaphorical sense, a fantom can describe something that is no longer present or active but whose influence or memory lingers, such as a "fantom limb" sensation experienced by amputees. In technology, the term might be used to describe ghostly images or interference on screens. Scientific explanations for phantom sightings often involve psychological phenomena, such as hallucinations, pareidolia (the tendency to perceive patterns where none exist), or environmental factors like infrasound or electromagnetic fields.
