Fanti
Fanti, also known as Fantse, refers to the Fante people, an Akan-speaking ethnic group native to the coastal areas of what is now the Central Region of Ghana, with communities in Cape Coast, Elmina, Mfantsiman, and surrounding towns. They are part of the larger Akan ethnolinguistic family and are closely related to other Akan groups such as the Twi-speaking peoples.
