FLIMin
FLIMin is a software tool designed for Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) data analysis. It aims to provide a user-friendly and efficient platform for researchers to process and interpret complex FLIM datasets. The software supports various FLIM acquisition modes and allows for the fitting of fluorescence decay curves using different models, such as single-exponential, multi-exponential, and phasor analysis. Users can visualize lifetime maps, intensity images, and decay curves, facilitating the identification of cellular structures, molecular interactions, and physiological states. FLIMin offers tools for image segmentation, background correction, and parameter extraction, enabling quantitative analysis of fluorescence lifetime. The development of FLIMin is often driven by the need for accessible and robust analysis tools that can handle the growing volume and complexity of FLIM data generated in biological and biomedical research. It is typically distributed as a standalone application or as a plugin for existing microscopy software packages, aiming to integrate seamlessly into existing research workflows.
