FEIThermo
FEIThermo is an informal term used to describe the combined line of electron microscopy systems and related software marketed by Thermo Fisher Scientific after acquiring FEI Company in 2016. The designation reflects the heritage of FEI’s high-performance microscopes as they were integrated with Thermo Fisher’s imaging platforms, forming a unified portfolio for academic, industrial, and clinical research. FEI, a specialist in electron microscopy, produced scanning electron microscopes (SEMs), transmission electron microscopes (TEMs), and focused ion beam (FIB) systems used in materials science, biology, and nanotechnology. Following the merger, Thermo Fisher continued development and marketing of FEI products alongside its own brands, maintaining instrument families and support networks within a merged product ecosystem.
Notable product families associated with this lineage include Helios FIB-SEM systems, Themis and Talos TEMs, and
