Eurytus was a figure in Greek mythology, primarily known for his archery skills and his role in the tale of Heracles. He was the king of Oechalia, a city in Thessaly. In some accounts, Eurytus was the son of King Actor of Phthia and his wife Molione. However, he is more famously associated with his daughter, Iole.
