Eurotium
Eurotium is a genus of fungi in the family Trichocomaceae, within the order Eurotiales of the phylum Ascomycota. The genus was historically established for the sexual (teleomorphic) stages of several Aspergillus species. In modern taxonomy, many species formerly placed in Eurotium are now classified as Aspergillus; the name Eurotium is often retained for the sexual morphs or used in historical or specialized contexts.
