European Standardized, often abbreviated as EN, refers to a system of voluntary standardization in Europe. It is managed by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), which is a non-governmental organization composed of the national standards bodies of the member states of the European Union and of EFTA countries. The standards developed under this system are known as European Standards and are intended to facilitate trade and economic cooperation within Europe.

The European Standardized system is not to be confused with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which is a global standardization body. However, there is a close cooperation between CEN and ISO, with many European Standards being adopted as ISO standards and vice versa. This cooperation helps to ensure that European standards are aligned with global standards, further enhancing their relevance and applicability.
