Eulerianer

Eulerianer is a term found in a small set of mathematical writings and online discussions, used to describe objects connected to Eulerian concepts. The term is not standardized and is not widely recognized in mainstream graph theory. It is typically employed in informal contexts to discuss structures that exhibit Eulerian properties, without committing to a single formal definition.

One common informal definition describes a Eulerianer as a connected graph whose edge set can be partitioned into a finite collection of edge-disjoint Eulerian cycles, with every edge belonging to exactly one cycle. Under this usage, the graph would have a cycle-based structure, and every vertex would necessarily have even degree. This makes the Eulerianer closely related to the idea of an Eulerian graph, which is characterized by the existence of an Eulerian circuit that traverses every edge exactly once.

Another, less strict usage of Eulerianer is to refer to any bridgeless graph—one with no cut edges—where every edge lies on some cycle. In this sense, the term emphasizes the absence of bridges rather than a fixed cycle decomposition. Because the term is not standardized, different authors may prefer one of these definitions or use Eulerianer in a broader or differently nuanced way.
