Euhelopus
Euhelopus is a genus of herbivorous sauropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous period. Fossils attributed to Euhelopus have been found in China. The genus was first described in 1956 by Alfred Sherwood Romer and Zdansky, based on remains discovered in the Shandong Province. The name Euhelopus means "true Helops," referring to a mythological figure and possibly alluding to the perceived long legs of the animal.
