Ermanarics
Ermanarics refers to a historical figure, often identified with Ermanaric, a king of the Greuthungi, a Gothic people who lived in what is now Ukraine. His reign is traditionally placed in the 4th century CE. Historical accounts of Ermanaric are primarily found in Roman and Gothic sources, most notably the Gothic historian Jordanes in his work "Getica". Jordanes describes Ermanaric as a powerful and ambitious ruler who greatly expanded his dominion, subjugating numerous tribes and establishing a vast kingdom.
