Erasmusohjelmaa

Erasmusohjelmaa, often referred to as the Erasmus Programme, is a European Union funding scheme established in 1987. It was initially designed to facilitate student exchanges between member universities across Europe. Over the years, the program has expanded significantly in scope and ambition, evolving into what is now known as Erasmus+.

The primary objective of Erasmus+ is to promote learning mobility and cooperation within the fields of education, training, youth, and sport. The program supports a wide range of activities, including individual mobility, strategic partnerships between organizations, and joint master's degrees. Funding for Erasmus+ comes from the European Union's budget, and it is managed by the European Commission and its executive agencies.
