Epäidentifioituminen, a Finnish term, describes a psychological phenomenon related to identity and self-perception. It refers to a state where an individual experiences a detachment from their own identity, feelings, or body. This can manifest as a feeling of being unreal, a spectator of one's own life, or a sense that one's surroundings are not real.

This experience is often associated with periods of intense stress, trauma, or anxiety.
