Engångspriser, a Swedish term, translates to one-time prices or single-use prices. This concept generally refers to costs incurred for a product or service that are paid for only once, rather than being part of a recurring subscription or payment plan. This can apply to a wide range of goods and services.

In the context of physical goods, an engångspris is simply the purchase price of an item that the consumer owns outright after the transaction. For example, buying a book, a piece of furniture, or a car typically involves an engångspris. The consumer pays the stated price and is then responsible for the item's use and maintenance, without further mandatory payments to the seller.

For digital products or services, the term can sometimes be used to distinguish from subscription models. A software license purchased outright, for instance, might be considered an engångspris, even though updates or premium features might later be offered on a subscription basis.
