Energiavisszanyerési

Energiavisszanyerési, a Hungarian term, translates to energy recovery or energy recycling. It refers to the process of capturing and reusing waste heat or other forms of energy that would otherwise be lost. This can be applied in various contexts, from industrial processes to building ventilation systems.

In industrial settings, energiavisszanyerési often involves capturing heat generated by machinery, exhaust gases, or chemical reactions. This recovered heat can then be used to preheat incoming materials, generate electricity, or provide space heating, thereby reducing the overall energy consumption of the facility. For example, in power plants, waste heat from the combustion process can be used to generate additional steam, increasing overall efficiency.

Within buildings, energy recovery is commonly seen in ventilation systems, known as heat recovery ventilation (HRV) or energy recovery ventilation (ERV). These systems use a heat exchanger to transfer heat from outgoing stale air to incoming fresh air during colder months, and vice versa during warmer months.
