Energiastoraget, often referred to as energy storage, is the capture of energy produced at one time for use at a later time. This process is essential for balancing supply and demand in energy systems, particularly with the increasing integration of renewable energy sources like solar and wind, which are intermittent in nature. Without effective energy storage, the electricity generated by these sources can be lost if not immediately consumed.
