Endlastfoot

Endlastfoot is a macro in LaTeX's longtable package used to mark the end of the content designated for the last page of a multi-page table. In longtable, headers and footers can be defined separately for the first page, subsequent pages, and the final page. The endlastfoot command terminates the definition of the lastfoot area, enabling a different footer on the final page from earlier pages.

To use it, the longtable environment supports four sections: firsthead (content for the first page's header), head (header for subsequent pages), foot (footer for all pages except the last), and lastfoot (content for the last page's footer) followed by endlastfoot to end the section. The content placed before endlastfoot will be used on the last page's footer, allowing customization such as summary lines or page-continued notices that differ from the rest of the table's footers.

A typical pattern places distinct content in the lastfoot area to appear only on the final page, and then ends it with endlastfoot. If no lastfoot is provided, the final page typically uses the same footer as the other pages. Endlastfoot is thus a tool for refined control over how a longtable ends, helping to tailor final-page presentation without affecting earlier pages.

Endlastfoot is specific to the longtable environment and does not apply to the standard tabular environment. It requires including the longtable package in the LaTeX preamble with a statement such as usepackage{longtable}.
