Emulgoituminen
Emulgoituminen refers to the process by which oil and water, which are normally immiscible, are mixed together to form a stable or semi-stable dispersion. This dispersion, known as an emulsion, consists of droplets of one liquid dispersed throughout the other. For an emulsion to form and persist, an emulsifying agent, or emulsifier, is typically required. Emulsifiers are molecules that have both hydrophilic (water-attracting) and hydrophobic (oil-attracting) parts, allowing them to stabilize the interface between the oil and water droplets.
There are two main types of emulsions: oil-in-water (O/W) and water-in-oil (W/O). In an O/W emulsion, oil
Emulgoituminen is a fundamental process with widespread applications in various industries. In the food industry, it
