Emlrak

Emlrak is a fictional character from the Warhammer 40,000 tabletop wargame and its associated lore, created by Games Workshop. He is a notable figure in the Chaos Space Marine faction, specifically within the Thousand Sons, a legendary Chaos Legion that once served the Emperor of Mankind before turning to the Dark Gods.

Originally a high-ranking psyker in the Imperial Guard, Emlrak was a member of the Adeptus Astartes before being recruited into the Thousand Sons by Magnus the Red, the Legion’s primarch. Over time, he became one of Magnus’ most trusted lieutenants, wielding immense psychic power and commanding loyalty among his followers. His loyalty to Magnus was absolute, even as the Thousand Sons embraced the Chaos Gods, particularly Tzeentch, the God of Change and Knowledge.

During the Horus Heresy, Emlrak fought alongside Magnus and the Thousand Sons against the Imperium. After the Heresy, he remained a key figure in the Thousand Sons’ operations, leading raids and incursions against the Imperium. His psychic abilities made him a formidable opponent, and he was known for his cunning and adaptability, traits that aligned with Tzeentch’s influence.

Emlrak’s legacy persists in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where he is occasionally referenced in lore and depicted in various media, including novels and game expansions.
