Emae
Emae is a small island situated in the western part of the Federated States of Micronesia. It belongs to the state of Yap and lies approximately 240 kilometres southeast of the capital, Rongerik. The island covers an area of roughly 2.5 square kilometres and is characterized by low-lying, volcanic terrain interspersed with mangrove swamps and a central lagoon that is popular with local fishermen.
