Eluvian is a fictional locale that appears in the high‑fantasy series *Chronicles of the Shattered Moon*. It is described as a city built on the northern cliffs of the Ocean of Mist, overlooking the Sapphire Sea. The city is notable for its intricate lattice of stone arches and the towering Library of Elderstones, which is said to house over ten thousand tomes of forgotten lore. Eluvian is governed by a council of six scholars, each representing one of the city’s principal guilds: Masonry, Tapestry, Enchantment, Navigation, Alchemy, and Heraldry.

Within the series, Eluvian functions as a center of trade and learning, attracting scholars, sages, and travelers from neighboring realms such as Valmora, the Kingdom of the Crimson Plains, and the isolated floating citadel of Aerith. The city’s culture is marked by a tradition of weaving legends into the very stone of its streets, and by a festival called the Luminara, during which lanterns are floated down the Sapphire Sea to honor the memory of the ancient Sea Sirens.
