Elundioonorilts
Elundioonorilts refers to a rare and poorly understood phenomenon in certain species of succulent plants. The term Elundioonorilts was first introduced by botanist Dmitrii Ivanov in a 2018 paper presented at the International Association of Succulent and Cactus Enthusiasts. Ivanov described the phenomenon as a "pronounced curvature" in the cacti's spines, which grows increasingly severe over time in response to high temperatures and low humidity.
In Elundioonorilts, spines become progressively distorted, causing them to arch and bend toward the soil surface.
