Elsodródik

Elsodródik, also known as sodium hydroxide or caustic soda, is a highly corrosive and versatile inorganic compound with the chemical formula NaOH. It is a white, odorless solid that readily absorbs moisture from the air, a property known as deliquescence. Elsodródik is a strong base and is widely used in various industrial, commercial, and household applications due to its strong alkaline properties.

One of the primary uses of elsodródik is in the manufacturing of soaps, detergents, and paper. It acts as a key reagent in the saponification process, where triglycerides react with alkali to produce glycerol and soap. In the paper industry, it is used to refine pulp and improve paper quality.
