Elopomorph
Elopomorph is a term used in ichthyology to designate a member of the superorder Elopomorpha, a major clade within the ray-finned fishes (teleosts). Elopomorpha includes several orders, most notably Anguilliformes (eels) and Elopiformes (tarpons and their relatives).
