ElQarakao is a coastal city and municipality in the fictional Republic of Athera, and the capital of the Aither Province. It lies on the eastern coastline at the mouth of the Nemer River, encompassing several urban districts and a historic port zone. History: The site was settled in the early medieval period as Qarako and grew as a maritime trading center. It was renamed ElQarakao in the 12th century.
