This light is typically composed of a spectrum of colors, with blue light being a significant component.

The intensity and duration of exposure to ekranivalgust have been the subject of increasing research and public interest. Prolonged use of electronic devices, particularly before bedtime, has been linked to potential disruptions in natural sleep patterns. This is often attributed to the blue light component, which can suppress the production of melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep.
