Ejiangxiensis
Ejiangxiensis is a genus of extinct marine reptiles belonging to the order Notosauria, which includes both marine and freshwater reptiles. It is known from the Middle Jurassic period, approximately 170 million years ago, and its fossils have been found in what is now China. The type species of Ejiangxiensis is E. wangi, named after Dr. Wang Xiaolin, a Chinese paleontologist who discovered the first fossils in 2008.
