Ejektori
Ejektori, also known as ejectors or steam ejectors, are devices used to move fluids (liquids or gases) by entraining them in a high-velocity jet of motive fluid. The most common motive fluid is steam, but compressed air or other gases can also be used. The basic principle of operation involves the Venturi effect. The motive fluid is accelerated through a nozzle, creating a region of low pressure. This low pressure draws in the fluid to be moved (the suction fluid) through an intake port. The two fluids then mix and are further accelerated through a diffuser, where the kinetic energy of the jet is converted back into pressure energy, allowing the mixture to be discharged at a higher pressure than the suction pressure.
Ejektori are simple, robust, and have no moving parts, making them reliable and low-maintenance. They are particularly
