Eemsdelta
Eemsdelta is a municipality located in the province of Groningen in the northeastern Netherlands. It was established on January 1, 2019, through the merger of the former municipalities of Delfzijl, Appingedam, and Loppersum. The name "Eemsdelta" refers to the municipality's location at the mouth of the Eems River, where it flows into the Wadden Sea.
