Ecosystemstrukturer
Ecosystemstrukturer refers to the physical and biological components that make up an ecosystem and how they are organized. This includes the non-living elements such as sunlight, water, soil, and air, collectively known as abiotic factors. It also encompasses the living organisms, or biotic factors, which are categorized into producers, consumers, and decomposers. Producers, primarily plants, convert light energy into chemical energy. Consumers obtain energy by eating other organisms, with primary consumers eating producers, secondary consumers eating primary consumers, and so on. Decomposers, such as bacteria and fungi, break down dead organic matter, returning nutrients to the soil.
The arrangement of these components creates specific structures within an ecosystem. For example, terrestrial ecosystems exhibit
