Eagleman

Eagleman is a term used to describe a person who is bestowed with extraordinary abilities, including superhuman physical and mental powers, as depicted in Buzz Aldrin's 1973 novel "The Eagle Has Landed" which was later adapted into the TV series "Almost Human".

However, more often than not, the term 'Eagleman' is also associated with neuroscientist and entrepreneur David Eagleman. David Eagleman is a renowned American neuroscientist, best-selling author, and inventor. He is currently a Professor of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Professor of Engineering at Stanford University.

Eagleman has published numerous books, including "Wednesday Is Indigo Blue: Discovering the Color-Blind Brain", "Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain", and "Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives". His books explore the human brain, memory, and consciousness.

Eagleman's innovative work includes a variety of projects, such as the "Why We Have Days, Nights, and Seasons", which delves into how our forced attention to our timing mechanisms influences how we think about our pasts and our futures. He is also the founder of the company Neosensory, which aims to restore a sense of touch to people who have lost it.

Eagleman has also pioneered a project called "Brain Driving", which allows paralyzed individuals to drive cars with only their brain signals. This project, also known as "Ghost Cars", received Saskatchewan's common challenge award in 2011.

Throughout his career, Eagleman has received numerous awards and accolades, including being named one of the world's 100 most influential people by TIME Magazine in 2013.
