EUtullitariffiin
EUtullitariffiin is the Finnish term for the European Union's common external tariff, the tariff schedule applied to goods imported from outside the EU. It is a cornerstone of the EU Customs Union and helps harmonize border duties across member states. Goods entering from within the EU's internal market are generally not subject to CET.
The tariff structure is organized by the Combined Nomenclature (CN), aligned with the Harmonized System (HS).
Administration and practice: The CET is negotiated at the EU level and implemented by the European Commission
Impact and scope: The CET shapes prices, supply chains, and market access for goods entering the EU.
