The model management subsystem contains analytical models, such as statistical, financial, or optimization models, which are used to process the data. The user interface allows decision-makers to interact with the system, input parameters, and view the results of the analysis. Modern DSS often incorporate sophisticated visualization tools to present complex information clearly. They aim to augment, rather than replace, human judgment by providing insights and exploring potential outcomes of different choices.
