Dupions
Dupions are a type of silkworm cocoon that differs from standard cocoons in a specific way. Normally, a silkworm spins a single cocoon from a single filament of silk. A dupion cocoon, however, is formed when two silkworms spin their cocoons very close together, sometimes intertwining their silk. This results in a single, often thicker, cocoon containing two filaments.
