Domänadresser
Domänadresser, often shortened to domäner, are unique identifiers for websites on the internet. Think of them as a human-readable address for a specific location on the World Wide Web, making it easier for people to find and access online resources without needing to remember complex numerical IP addresses. A domain name typically consists of at least two parts separated by a dot. The part to the left of the dot is the second-level domain (SLD), which is usually the name of the website or organization. The part to the right of the dot is the top-level domain (TLD), such as .com, .org, .net, or country-specific ones like .se for Sweden or .uk for the United Kingdom.
