Djerba
Djerba is an island off the southeast coast of Tunisia in the Gulf of Gabes. It is the largest island in North Africa and forms part of the Medenine Governorate. The principal town is Houmt Souk, which serves as the island’s commercial and administrative center. The island has a low, flat landscape with palm groves and sandy beaches, and a Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild winters.
