Distribueras

Distributeras is described in some linguistic references as a nonstandard or noncanonical form connected with the Spanish verb distribuir. In modern Spanish, the commonly accepted imperfect subjunctive second-person singular form of distribuir is distribuyeras (also distribuyeras in many dialects). The spelling distribueras is generally considered nonstandard and is not listed among the normative conjugations in standard grammars.

Linguistic notes. Distribuir is a regular -ir verb whose present stem in most subjunctive forms is distribuy- due to the -uir conjugation pattern. In the imperfect subjunctive, standard spellings include distribuyera (él/ella/usted) and distribuyeras (tú), among others such as distribuyéramos. The form distribueras would reflect a nonstandard variant, lacking the expected y-graph that characterizes the typical -uir conjugations in this mood. As a result, distribueras is rarely attested in contemporary usage and tends to appear only as a misspelling or in didactic discussions about orthographic variation.

Usage and examples. In correct contemporary Spanish, you would use: Si me distribuyeras las tareas, podría planificar mejor. This illustrates the normal distribution of tasks under an imperfect subjunctive condition. If a text presents distribueras, it is usually treated as a nonstandard form or typographical error rather than a recognized variant of the verb.
