Dioneo

Dioneo is a medieval Italian poet and playwright, known for his works on prosa rima. Little is known about his personal life, but it is believed that he was active in the early 14th century, roughly around the same time as the famous poet and playwright, Giovanni Boccaccio.

As a poet, Dioneo is often associated with the collection of poems known as the Decameron.
