Dickkopf1

Dickkopf1 (DKK1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12 in humans. It is a member of the Dickkopf family of secreted proteins, which play crucial roles in various developmental processes. DKK1 was first identified as a Wnt signaling inhibitor, a pathway involved in cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis.
