Diavik
The Diavik Diamond Mine is an operating diamond mine in the Northwest Territories of Canada. It is located on an island in Lac de Gras, approximately 210 kilometers (130 miles) south of the Arctic Circle. The mine is owned by Rio Tinto (60%) and Dominion Diamond Mines (40%).
