Diamondbacks
Diamondbacks is a common name used for several species of venomous snakes belonging to the pit viper subfamily Crotalinae. These snakes are characterized by a pair of heat-sensing pits located between the eye and the nostril on each side of the head. The term "diamondback" specifically refers to the prominent diamond-shaped patterns often found on the snake's back.
