Desvio

Desvio is a Portuguese noun that denotes deviation, detour, or redirection from a planned path or expected course. It is used in a variety of contexts, from everyday travel to technical disciplines, and it shares a common root with related terms in other Iberian languages. The word comes from Latin deviare, meaning to turn aside.
